Nagasaki Pop-Up Event to Be Held! Ken Kagami to Visit on the First Weekend!
From July 12th to 27th, "SUMMER VACATION SPECIAL POP UP," or "Samabake Spepp" for short, will be held at Hiroppa, operated by Maruhiro, a Hasami ware manufacturer in Nagasaki. On July 12th and 13th, there will also be an in-store event with Ken Kagami!
We'd love to say "come and see what happens," but for those who purchase an item from either A SCENE or VOILLD, Ken Kagami will personally write an impromptu "Your Summer Phrase" on a sticker as a gift.
Please come and experience these two laid-back and free-spirited days.

Contemporary artist. Born in Tokyo in 1974, and currently based there. The artist is widely active, participating in art exhibitions and fairs both in Japan and overseas, and providing artwork to companies and brands. They transform social phenomena, current events, and culture into humorous concepts, and present their work across various media, including sculpture, painting, drawing, video, and performance. In 2010, the artist opened Strange Store, their own shop (which is a work of art in itself) in Daikanyama, selling original products and more.
An art gallery established in Nakameguro in 2014, with Kasuga Ise as founder and director. Currently operating spaces in Gotanda and Asakusa, the gallery develops numerous exhibitions and projects from its unique perspective, working with artists of diverse mediums and backgrounds, including painting, sculpture, illustration, computer graphics, and design, primarily active in Tokyo. In addition to organizing "TOKYO ART BAZAAR," an art event featuring a total of 40 artists and creators, the gallery undertakes a wide range of art-related projects such as advertisement production, publishing, product development, and collaborations with corporations.
