AUTUMN
It's been a while since I last wrote.
It's almost October, but it's still summer-like weather, and I'm exhausted. *sob*
Did everyone go somewhere during the Silver Week holidays?
My family and I traveled to Oita Prefecture, where some of our relatives live.
It was the first time since my son was born that he got to meet his great-grandparents and grandparents, and it was a heartwarming and fun trip. 😌
This was my second time visiting Oita Prefecture.
The first time, for some reason, I traveled all the way to Oita to submit my marriage registration.
I'll spare you the details, but it was due to a mishap, lol.
That time, I stayed at an inn in Yufuin.
This time, we stayed in the city and in Beppu.
Unlike before, our family had grown, and I really felt the passage of time.
We also got to go to the aquarium, which my son loves.
My particular favorite (mine, that is) was the monkeys at Takasakiyama!
If you're going to Oita Prefecture, you absolutely have to visit!

There are hordes of monkeys, young and old, everywhere, incredibly close.
It was my first time experiencing something like that, and as someone born in the Year of the Monkey, I was incredibly excited, lol.
Umitamago Aquarium is, of course, recommended, but you really should see the monkeys too! Lol.
By the way, the thumbnail for this article is of the sardine school, which is one of my top 5 favorite corners of the aquarium. 🐟

On this trip, I had my paracord shoulder bag with me all the time.
It's highly recommended because my husband can use it too! ❤️
